The Application Deadlines for the 2010 Summer Composition Program are as follows:
All dates are POSTMARK DATES.
To apply for Financial Aid Extended to: March 1, 2010
Final Application Deadline: March 15, 2010.
We are no longer considering applications for the 2010 Summer Composition Program.
To apply to the Composition program simply download the appropriate application forms, fill them out, and mail them to the indicated address (included on the application forms) along with the required materials listed below.
All applicants must submit the following with their applications:
  • Curriculum vitae, including musical background, formal education, and teachers.
  • A Passport size photo.
  • A one or two paragraph statement discussing the relevance of Counterpoint for you in Composition.
  • Most representative work with score and tape (if possible).
  • One Letter of Recommendation
  • $60 Application processing fee before March 1, 2010 ($85 for students outside the U.S., please send only an INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER.)
  • $85 Application processing fee after March 1, 2010. ($105 for students outside the U.S., please send only an INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER.)
  • A self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your materials
If you wish to apply for financial assistance you must also include a financial evaluation form with your application. Please note: Only tuition scholarships are available, and awards are limited.
We do not send paper applications. You must print the documents from the website and send them by mail with all the required materials
